On 18 September 2013, the results of a research project entitled “East-West Cultural Corridor” conducted by Prof. Shibayama Mamoru were introduced in Kyoto Shimbun, one of Kyoto’s Newspapers (Japanese only).

On 18 September 2013, the results of a research project entitled “East-West Cultural Corridor” conducted by Prof. Shibayama Mamoru (Professor of Center for Integrated Area Studies (CIAS) Kyoto University, Professor Emeritus of Kyoto University, Professor of Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Kyoto University), were introduced in Kyoto Shimbun, one of Kyoto’s Newspapers (Japanese only).

The results arise from a Joint Research project “Study on East-West Cultural Corridor―From Myanmar to Thailand and Cambodia 2012-2013″ funded by the International Program of Collaborative Research (IPCR) Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) Kyoto University.
