About the speaker<\/strong>:
\n Walden Bello is a visiting senior research scholar at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies of Kyoto University, an associate of the Amsterdam-based Transnational Institute, and a professor at the Department of Sociology of the State University of New York at Binghamton. He is the author or co-author of 20 books, the most recent of which are as flollows;
\n     – State of Fragmentation: The Philippines in Transition, Manila: Focus on the Global South, 2014,
\n     – Capitalism\u2019s Last Stand, London: Zed, 2013,
