<\/span>Q1 What is the conference format?<\/div>
A1<\/b> – We will host this conference through an online format only. <\/div><\/div>\n\n
<\/span>Q2 How much is the price of registration? \nIs there a cancellation policy?\n<\/div>
A2<\/b> – Registration fee will vary depending on your status and the date of your registration. See the \u201cConference REGISTRATION<\/a>\u201d page for more information on registration and cancellation. <\/div><\/div>\n\n
<\/span>Q3 How can I obtain an official letter of Invitation?<\/div>
A3<\/b> – Please contact our conference secretariat to info_icts14 [at] cseas.kyoto-u.ac.jp with the information which you would like to be on the letter, such as;\n
\n    – Your name with title (Mr., Ms., Dr., Prof., etc.),
\n    – Submission number
\n    – Your affiliation address.
\nFor the panel presentations, please provide the above information for all panel members. \n <\/div><\/div>\n\n
<\/span>Q4 Do I need to submit a full paper?<\/div>
A4<\/b> – Other than your abstract, submission of the extended abstract or full paper is not required, but if you wish to disseminate it through our CONFIT system, we welcome your submission. We expect to collect them next March or April. Please look forward to the announcement. <\/div><\/div>\n\n
<\/span>Q5 Is conference registration only open for presenters? Is it possible to register as a non-presenting participant? <\/div>
A5<\/b> – Anyone interested in participating can register. \nOnce you have completed the registration and online payment, you will receive an ID, password and URL by e-mail. You can participate in the conference platform, through which we will provide the live-streaming of the keynote addresses, and entry to various sessions. Pre-recorded presentation will be available for view and the audience can send comments. There will also be a live session for discussion. <\/div><\/div>\n\n
<\/span>Q6 What should I do if I want to cancel my PRESENTATION?<\/div>
A6<\/b> – Cancellation of presenter registration must be submitted in writing or via email < info_icts14 [at] cseas.kyoto-u.ac.jp > and is valid only with acknowledgement by the ICTS14 Organizing Committee. For panel presentations, please note that we need cancellation letter from each member of a panel. <\/div><\/div>\n\n
<\/span>Q7 What should I do if I want to cancel my CONFERENCE REGISTRATION?<\/div>
A7<\/b> – Cancellation of CONFERENCE REGISTRATION must be submitted in writing or via email < info_icts14 [at] cseas.kyoto-u.ac.jp > and is valid only with acknowledgement by the ICTS14 secretariat. If you cancel your participation, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded at once, and “Cancellation fee\/ Administrative fee” will be charged afterwards according to the regulations automatically. Please see the cancellation regulation before you actually cancelled. Even if you cancel and then re-register right away, you will still be charged a processing fee automatically, so please be careful and consider carefully before canceling. <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/span>Q8 If I don't have my Student ID card to upload, what document can be used instead?<\/div>
A8<\/b> – In order to complete the registration process with the student rate, we need your Student ID for verification. We would like you to upload documents that clearly show your name and affiliation and valid date. If you don\u2019t have Student ID card, please submit a Certificate of Student Status issued by your university\/organization instead. \n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
<\/span>Q9 Why is the status of my abstract still displayed as \u201dFinal submission date\u201d is \u201dNot completed\u201d. What should I do for the next step to complete?<\/div>
A9<\/b> – The “Not completed” error is caused by the fact that the “Submit” button was not pressed during the “Last Registration Period” and there is no problem with the adoption result.\nHowever, we may be able to assist you in removing the signature as well, so please contact us.\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
<\/span>Q10 What we mean when we say \u201cONLINE conference\u201d?<\/div>
A10<\/b> -Presenting participants: You can upload your presentation video for all participants to view. (Also, besides your abstract, you may upload your full paper, although this is not a requirement). You will receive comments on your recorded presentation. In addition, you will appear in a live session according to the program schedule, and exchange discussion with participants.

\n -Other participants: You can participate in the conference from a platform, through which we will provide the live-streaming of the keynote addresses. For panels and individual paper sessions, pre-recorded presentations will be available for view, to which audience can send comments, and there will be live sessions for discussions both for panels and for individual papers.\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
