CSEAS, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, National University of Laos, organized the 41st Southeast Asia Seminar in Vientiane, Laos in Nov 2\uff707 2017, under the title of \u201cEconomic Development in Laos and the Greater Mekong Region\u201d. Twenty-three young researchers from thirteen countries in the world, who were selected through international open recruitment, participated. The participants listened joined thirteen lectures in four sessions; \u201cKey Industries for Economic Development\u201d, \u201cRising Agendas on Human Capital\u201d, \u201cHydropower and Mining Sector\u201d, \u201cInfrastructure and Development Cooperation\u201d, \u201cLand, Forestry, and Development\u201d, then exchanged opinions actively. IPCR (Type VII) supported the travel expenses of nineteen participants.<\/p>\n
