{"id":9388,"date":"2020-02-26T00:05:57","date_gmt":"2020-02-25T15:05:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www-archive.cseas.kyoto-u.ac.jp\/ipcr\/?p=9388"},"modified":"2020-02-26T00:07:03","modified_gmt":"2020-02-25T15:07:03","slug":"2019report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www-archive.cseas.kyoto-u.ac.jp\/ipcr\/en\/2019report\/","title":{"rendered":"Documentary Research on Han-nom Manuscripts"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 class=\"base_h5\">FY2017-2018 (H29-30)<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"base_h4\">Shimizu Masaaki (Osaka University, Graduate school of language and culture)<\/h4>\n<p>I gave an oral presentation titled <em>Buddhist Scriptures Written in Chinese and Vietnamese Chu Nom Preserved at the Library of Kyoto University<\/em> at a workshop on New Directions in Research on Sinoxenic Scripts and Manuscripts held at the Center for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC) in Hamburg during July 9-10, 2019. I introduced a preliminary analysis of both the linguistic features and paper material of one of the scriptures, F<em>o shuo tian di ba yang<\/em> jing \u4f5b\u8aac\u5929\u5730\u516b\u967d\u7d93. Finally, I proposed a future research direction of pursuing comparative study of Chu Nom and other Sinoxenic scripts, such as Zhuang, Yao, and Cantonese vernacular.
