ASEAN Research Platform Annual Meeting FY 2019

Date: February 12, 2020
Venue: Middle sized meeting room, 3F, Inamori Foundation Memorial Building, Kyoto University

ASEAN Research Platform is an innovative transdisciplinary initiative, launched by CSEAS in 2017. The Platform aims to promote a dialogue between academic and non-academic stakeholders, and encourage transformative research on the ASEAN region. By bringing together scholars, scientists, engineers, and representatives from local government, business community and civil society in ASEAN and Japan, we forge new relationships and share insights as well as expertise to address specific issues and needs. Partnership with local researchers, practitioners and stakeholders is critical for the Platform to ensure the relevance and sustainability of knowledge produced. In this annual meeting, we review the activities and progress of the past year, and discuss focus and priorities of the Platform for the next fiscal year.
