I have conducted the field work on Locally Existing Technologies” such as SOKSHING( Fallen Broad Leaf Forest) in Bhutan and Rice- Black Gram Cultivation in Myanmar. These consultations have not well been reported in the Academic Societies in Japan. Therefore the academic achievement can be significantly recognized. |

The study tour to understand the role of State Universities in USA for rural development has been conducted by the team consisted of Myanmar professionals ( Yezin Univ.3 members) , Bhutan ( Sherubtse College 2 members) and Japanese (CSEAS 2 members, Nagoya Univ. 1 member) , visiting Cornell Univ and Michigan State Univ, USA in Sep. 2019. |

I have tried to develop the Pracitice-oriented Area Studies’ methodologies through Participatory Rural Appraisal with the students of ILAS filed class, Kyoto Univ and teachers & junior research fellows from Bhutan and Myanmar in Bhutan, Miyazu City and Nantan-Miyama, Japan and also Partipatory Rural Development Practice at the Okawa Revitalization project in Misaki, Moriyama City, Shiga Pref. |
