Looking at aging and care in Thailand, with focus especially on re-organization of local society as well as narratives of the elderly.

Minority ethnic groups and Buddhist saints in the Thai-Myanmar border area

Pursuing the relationship between Buddhist saint worship among minority ethnic groups on the Thai-Myanmar border to reconsider the inter-relationship between religious practices, border region, and ethnic minority.

Christian mission and ethnic minorities in Burma

Examining the role of ethnic minority (Karen) evangelists in the Christian missionary work in colonial Burma, and how this affected the process of ethnic formation.
