プロジェクト概要	My project will be an intellectual history; a study of movement of people and ideas and interconnectedness between intellectuals in the Malay world. I will examine the historical context of migration of Minangkabau intelligentsias-such as Sheikh Tahir Jalaluddin, Burhanuddin Al-Helmi, and Khatijah Sidek-from Sumatra to the British Malay in the nineteenth and early twentieth century, their influential roles and the impact of their migration to local communities in the Straits Settlements and peninsula.

プロジェクト概要	The potentials that psychology can give to the judicial area still have not been adequately explored either by academicians or practitioners. The reason is the fact that until today the extensive study on judicial psychology is still chronically limited. My project will focus on the area of psychology of judicial decision making. A number of questions to be explored during the program are as follows a. Selection process of justice: criteria and method of assessment b. Training and educational process of justice: curriculum design c. Specific roles of psychology in a and b d. Public critical issues regarding judge performance e. Steps taken judicial authority to respond those issues f. Initiatives taken from non-judicial parties to improve judge performance (decision making).
