プロジェクト概要	I’d like to research on independent documentary films in Thailand and Japan; how these developments are currently organized; and what roles grassroots film/art organizations play in local communities. I’d also collaborate with Thai and Japanese filmmakers on an experimental project with the purpose of examining the aesthetics of film editing, as ways of seeing, in Asia.

プロジェクトテーマ	Negotiating Identities: The Process of Cultural Adaptation and Re-Adaptation of Vietnamese Migrants Between Japan and Vietnam and Their Socio-Economic Implications
プロジェクト概要	My research will be on cultural adaptation and re-adaptation of Vietnamese trainees/interns between Japan and Vietnam, and how these process influence migration outcomes. Specifically, how migrants negotiate their national identities with norms/values of the host countries and how they use learnt skills/experiences to improve well-beings of their families and communities.

プロジェクト概要	This project asks to what extent public schooling acknowledges the diversity in the country, how issues of conflicts have been represented in the textbooks, how social movements are dressed. It also assesses teachers’ and students’ understanding of the relevance of social action ethics in their daily and local concerns
