Background
People's Oriented Program Initiative (POPI) was established in the year 1986 and working with the people to improve living condition and mainstreeming of poor and extreme poor.

Vision
POPI envisions a prudent nation that is free from hunger and poverty where every citizen will lead a life with dignity and equity.

Mission
-To work for and with the poor and the marginalized citizens for alleviation and eradication of poverty and root causes of poverty

-To raise human resourses, quality and capacity to overcome and to remove cause of poverty and marginalized by own ability of the poor and extreme poor.

-To empower the poor and the marginalized for sustainable changes in lives, living and livelihood

-To establish environment and situation for dignity and justices of the poor and extreme poor people.

Legal Status: Registered under NGO Affairs Bureau, Department of Social Welfare &
Micro Credit Regulatory Authority.
