Environment Coping Forum
One of the universally accepted truths is that we are sprawling our environment everyday. But the fact that makes us pessimistic is that most of us are now concerned about this matter. Men become aware of the bad effects of modernization and globalization. In this context to develop a forum related to environment is not an unexpected step.
Keeping in mind the present and real situation of our environment, gEnvironmental Coping Forumh with a Research Team of Kyoto University, Japan started its journey on September 19, 2008 where 15 Non-Government Organization (NGOs) would work together for the betterment of human race.
As a first step an inventory questioner format was sent to 390 NGOs for primary data collection about NGOs. Of which 116 NGOs return back the questioner. Analysis of data & inference by committee comprising five Japanese & consulting with Society for Social Service (SSS), fifteen (15) NGOs were selected as members of this forum.
We heartily acknowledged the contribution of Society For Social Service (SSS) as they provided necessary support to organize inauguration meeting-cum workshop and also performed the responsibilities of organizing selected NGOs.
