Background
SATU is the acronym of Social Advancement through Unity-a non-political and non-government voluntary development organization founded in 1991 by a group of like-minded social workers with a view to working for the poor and destitute families and to establish social where everyone of the community will enjoy their rights and live in peace and harmony.

Vision
A society free from poverty, exploitation and deprivation.

Mission
Trim-down of people’s anguish by improving the socio-economic status of the poor, disadvantaged, helpless and ethnic minority, focusing women and children in intricate circumstances-both in urban and rural milieu, by means of organizing, educating, empowering-n financial decision making, participation and maximum use of local resources and intervene need-based people oriented program.

Legal Status: Registered under NGO Affairs Bureau, Department of Social Welfare, Micro credit Regulatory Authority
