Latin American Studies Council of Asia and Oceania (CELAO)
 
The Latin American Studies Council of Asia and Oceania (CELAO) was established in Osaka, Japan in 2003 to serve as a forum for multidisciplinary research on Latin America, and to promote cooperation with similar organizations devoted to Latin American studies in the Asia and Oceania region.
The 6th Conference of CELAO is to be held in Kyoto, 2014.
