Phylogenetic studies on potentially important genetic resources of tropical fruits are going on by the molecular analyses with the cooperation of Thai researchers in Kasetsart University and Horticulture Research Institute. The studies on reproductive biology in tropical fruits, especially mango, durian, and mangosteen, are also going on under the cooperation of these researchers. We are now focusing on the study on apomixis of mangoteen fruits.
