The Centre for Southeast Asian Studies at Kyoto University proudly presents the new issue (20) of Kyoto review (September 2016) which focuses “Memory and History” of Southeast Asia. We have five articles by Vatthana Pholsena, Taylor M Easum, Boreth Ly, Malinee Khumsupa & Sudarat Musikawong, and Anne Yvonne Guillou–all are translated into Japanese, Thai and Bahasa Indonesian. We are delighted to have Dr Penny Edwards (University of California at Berkeley) as guest editor.
