Visiting Research Fellow Southeast Aisan Documentation Research InterestsI am librarian at the National Library of Thailand. First of all I would like to explain about my library a little. The National Library of Thailand was established by the Royal Decree of King Chulalongkorn of Siam (King Rama V) in 1905 by amalgamation of three large royal libraries namely the Vajiranana Library, the Mandira Dhamma Library, the Buddhasasanasangaha Library into “The Vajiranana National Library” was situated within the precinct of the Royal Palace. Over the year there has been an ever increasing appreciation of role of the National Library in education, culture and national development. With the expansion of the collection book and steady increase for use library. In 1962 the Thai government decided to a new building constructed at the site adjoining to the Royal Landing ? stage at Thawasukree, on Samsen Road. The National Library of Thailand is under the direction of a director and under the control of the Fine Arts Department, Ministry of Culture. NLT comprises the Main library in Bangkok, have 7 division is; Administration, Library Specialist Group, Library Information Center, Library Resource Development, Reference Service, Audio-Visual Materials, Ancient Languages and seventeen branch libraries in fifteen provinces through out the country. In globalizations, knowledge management is very important. I want to know how to make databases management. If we can put detail in database and make it easy to use, it can help users search information with flexibility and users are friendly. It is the role of librarian. So, my research interests in; - Databases management in Thai cremation book or rare book or the statistic
