タイトル: A Sharing On: One UP Health Benefits Action Research Towards A Gendered Universal Health Care Sectoral Model Utilizing an Information Technology System
要旨:
The One UP Health Benefits Action Research aimed to develop an information management system that consolidates health insurance programs and other benefits available to member UP employees, using information communication technology (ICT). The intent was to expand the access of UP employees to available health benefits by developing a software that (1) consolidates available information on health and social benefits data for UP employees; (2) provides for gender-sensitive analysis; and (3) links these benefits list to existing services for increased access.
1. Gather information on health-related benefits UP employees currently enjoy.
2. Develop and establish an efficient, user-friendly, and secure information technology platform/design that will host comprehensive health-related information and benefits of UP employees may be accessed through the Internet.
3. Provide preliminary information on effect of intervention to usage of health-related benefits.
4. Determine the feasibility of scaling-up said online resource to the UP system as a preliminary contribution to health information systems that will support the provision of universal health care.
