CSEAS accepts researchers and students from all over Southeast Asia. One form of accepting persons is through an internship system. In recent years, economic development in the region has allowed governments from across the region to provide scholarships for both researchers and students to travel to Japan to study. Under the auspices of our large-scale project “Southeast Asian Studies for Sustainable Humanosphere,” CSEAS has been accepting short-term stay students from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and Bogor Agricultural University.
For students and researchers who travel over to and stay at CSEAS, we offer them study space and full access to our library facility. In addition, we also hold monthly research seminars and “get together parties” where faculty join in to help further cement relations between staff and those who stay at the Center.
